Welcome to Forage & Relish, your new local centre for culinary creativity

In culinary school I fell in love with the art of preservation and food
presentation. I found enjoyment in the many processes and age-old
principles that showcase the craftsmanship and excellence involved to
produce artisanal cheese, charcuterie, pickling, canning, dehydrating,
and smoking foods that are to be enjoyed some time in the future. All
of these steps are carried out far in advance so that in time they will
transform into something truly delicious. I developed an affinity and joy
for creating beautifully displayed food with careful consideration on the
importance of food that tastes great. In my work I also like to pair
preserved foods with a variety of fresh ingredients from local farmers.
My goal is to create a culinary experience that can be shared and
enjoyed among guests; one which creates a sense of connection and
community. I want to contribute to a culture where people share with
one another how much they are enjoying what they have put on their
plate to nosh on and they share with one another that they loved the
grilled dates with honeycomb and Camembert cheese, “Try it”.
